We are looking for:

Based in Athens headquarters, Spyrou hospitality group

Spyrou hospitality group, a company in the tourism section since 1990, with complexes in Skopelos, Zakynthos, Arachova and Nafplio is expanding its activities and is looking for a Hotel Cost Controller.

Responsibilities:
• Cost Monitoring: Oversee daily operational costs, including food, beverage, maintenance, and supplies.
• Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels through regular audits, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Supplier Relations: Negotiate pricing, review contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Financial  and Statistics Reporting: Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports focusing on food, beverage, and operational expenses.
• Compliance and Audits: Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
• Collaboration: Work with F&B, housekeeping, and reception teams to implement cost-control measures while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector (hotels, resorts, restaurants)
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in English (Additional languages are an advantage.)
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
